A beautiful stretch of SR180 in the national forest. The Kings River is so pretty as it meanders through and around the rocks.

Grizzly Falls in Kings Canyon National Park is a natural wonder worth experiencing! The 80 ft high waterfall creates a mesmerizing spectacle with its thunderous water drop, gracefully cascading over the rocks into the serene creek below. The short 0.1-mile hike to reach it is a breeze, making it accessible to all. We visited during spring when the waterfall was at its peak, and the view was breathtaking. The amenities at the trailhead, including picnic tables and a vault toilet, were convenient. However, be aware that parking is limited, with only 6-10 spots available at the pullout area. During the busy summer season, these spaces may fill up quickly. Plan accordingly to ensure you can enjoy this natural beauty hassle-free. Grizzly Falls is a must-visit gem in Kings Canyon National Park!

Went the weekend of halloween and was quite surprised that there was still a stream at Grizzly Falls! Super chill and scenic spot to visit. There’s picnic tables and a bathroom available, along with some parking spots. It’s a pretty small area to be honest. However if you happen to snag a spot, definitely check out the other side of the road (cautiously!!). Plenty of views for daysss and a wonderful halfway point before making it to the end of the road for the remainder hikes.

🚘It is not easy to park because there are about 10 parking spaces. 🏞We played coolly in the valley across the street. 🌦It rained little by little, but it was a beautiful and fun time to eat cup noodles🍜 and watch the waterfall. 😁👍 …

It’s a nice stop as you travel through Kings Canyon. Anyone expecting Yosemite style falls is going to be disappointed, but the water is cool, clear and demands young kids and adults alike slip off their shoes and paddle in it’s refreshing coolness. There are picnic benches for anyone who wants to make this a lunch spot and also a drop toilet.

Groovy picnic site that is usually pretty busy. The waterfall is spectacular in springtime and early summer, especially after a good snow year.

Gorgeous spot. Lots of picnic tables, trash cans and a pit toilet. Small area that pos up at the base where you can wade in if you dare.

Went here a few weeks ago and simply amazing, I say it's about 200ft up or so from the parking area and the water felt great, nice and cold and I know my dogs enjoyed it!
